On Wednesday 15th October, Bill Smith from WWI workshops visited QEGS for a session on WW1 and the religious beliefs of soldiers during the war.
Year 9 had a great time trying on WW1 uniforms, handling real life medals and items the soldiers had in the trenches during the war.
Bill told the story of WWI through the real life stories of Harry Price, a Christian soldier from Blackburn and Fatha Khan, a Muslim soldier from modern day Pakistan.
