Vegetarian menu trial update
Following initial feedback from parents we have reintroduced a meat option each day, in addition tuna is served daily and we offer fish and chips on Friday. The School is very keen to offer the widest range of menu choices to the maximum number of pupils and students and that all our children have a balanced and nutritious school dinner. Please be assured that the School is monitoring the nutritional content of its menu choices.
Governors will be asked to consider a report into the trial at the end of term. Feedback from Pupils, Parents & Staff will be incorporated into the report. Over 60 parents have so far provided feedback on the menu changes. If you haven’t already done so, please consider emailing your thoughts to: firstname.lastname@example.org. Your comments along with others will be incorporated into the report to Governors at the end of the trial.
Packed lunches are not allowed except under the most extreme, usually medical, circumstances and individual cases must be discussed with the Head. We strongly believe in the value of children eating together socially and our prices are reasonable.
A slightly modified version of the KS2 and Senior School menu, appropriate for younger children, is offered to our boys and girls in EYFS and KS1. Q-Plus offers before and after school facilities.
Our Sixth Form students enjoy a variety of meals, snacks and refreshments in the excellent cafeteria, always a popular and lively area at break times and located at the heart of the Sixth Form Centre, Singleton House.
