Nursery Attendance and Fee Structure for the Academic Year 2025–2026
30 hours only
Details of the nursery’s fee structure for the academic year:
1st September 2025 to 31st August 2026 regarding the 30 hours all-inclusive stretched offer.
QEGS Nursery is committed to providing a 50-week service to parents.
Parents who are entitled to the 30 hours funding are required to commit to paying for their child to attend Nursery a minimum of 2 days during half terms and School holidays.
If you do not take the stretched offer. Attendance is required for the 50 weeks per year.
To support parents with spreading the cost of their childcare we can offer a ‘stretched offer’ over 50 weeks a year for working parents claiming 30 hours funding.
We can also provide a stretched offer for working parents in receipt of 15 hours – please ask for more information on this offer.
Attendance
The nursery will be open for 50-weeks. We are closed for 2 weeks at Christmas and on bank holidays.
No charges apply to days we are closed. Payment is still required if your child is absent due to sickness or holidays.
Free Education Entitlement
Eligible working families can access 30 hours of free childcare for 38 weeks of the years- a total of 1140 hours.
Parents then have the choice of how to pay for any additional hours.
A charge of £120 per week during the half term and school holidays will be applied to your account for the two days attendance. Alternatively, you can stretch the costs of the additional hours over 12 equal monthly instalments. £120 per month to cover the cost of the two days during the half terms and holidays
