As part of ‘World Kindness Day’ in association with ‘The Kindness Coach‘, we launched our very first ‘Kindness Month’ at QEGS, running until Friday 11th December 2020.

Across the month, we will be working with ‘The Kindness Coach’ and undertaking the ’30 Days of Kindness Challenge’, which will include a range of activities across the school including reflection, tasks and discussions on what it means to be kind and how kindness can feature in every area of school life. We will also be installing a ‘Random Acts of Kindness’ post box in Main Reception where staff, pupils and students can anonymously let us know what acts of kindness they have shown, or have been shown, and these will be shared each week. Parents and carers are also welcome to email in the random acts of kindness that they have seen or done, to Kindness@QEGSBlackburn.com. We will keep all emails anonymous when sharing the acts over the month.

Blackburn-born John Magee (The Kindness Coach) is on a mission to spread more kindness around the country and will today hold his ‘Kindness Matters: Super Learning Day’ series on his Youtube page, which can be found here. John has even recorded a special message for QEGS pupils and students, which can be seen here.

Parents and carers are asked to support this campaign by subscribing to ‘The Kindness Coach’ and discussing what kindness means to their children at home, and how we can all be more kind in day to day life.

We look forward to showcasing what a kind community we have here at QEGS!
