Boxing – Nathan May competed in the 60kg category British Club Championships and managed to box his way to the finals. He defeated a four-time Irish Champion in the semi-final but lost on a split decision in the final to another Irish boxer. Well done Nathan, terrific effort!
Netball – Well done to Niamh Hamilton and her Lancashire U15 netball team who recently achieved 1st place in a county tournament. Niamh was also awarded the Julie Brown Young Player of the Year award recently in the Blackburn with Darwen Sports Awards.

Cricket – Forty Club Presentation
Dr Butler and Year 13 student Qasim Shah attended the Forty Club presentation evening in the Writing Room at Lords on Friday to be presented with the 2019 North West, Forty Club ‘Spirit of Cricket’ award. It was an extremely special occasion for our school and well done to Qasim who conducted himself in an exemplary fashion.
