Year 7 and 8 Pupils Impress With Their Basketball Skills

Nine pupils in Year 7 and 8 took part in a 3v3 basketball tournament and impressed with their newly-discovered skills.

Mr Brierley and Mr Cunningham accompanied the players to Darwen Vale and watched on with pride as the Year 7 team, made up of Georgie Walton, Alfie Emmett, David Bowlin, Imaad Faissel and Husan Malik secured 3^rd place. The Year 8 squad, featuring Ali-Shaan Iqbal, Aiden Robinson, Oscar Kelly and Jaden Baron managed to earn runner-up places, with both teams showing excellent commitment and sportsmanship throughout the tournaments.
