Biology teacher Mr Peat visited pupils in Year 6 and demonstrated how to dissect a sheep’s and cow’s heart.

Pupils learnt about the functions of the heart and could recognise the arteries, heart strings, valves and aorta. After the lesson, pupils spent time drawing their own diagrams of the heart and played a heart quiz.

All the pupils thoroughly enjoyed the lesson and have not stopped talking about it since.

On behalf of everyone in Year 6 we would like to Thank Dr Saunders and Mr Peat for organising such a good lesson.
