Year 12 geographers enjoyed a visit to the honeypot site of Grasmere in the Lake District to investigate the glaciated landscape in the surrounding valleys. The students enjoyed the walk to Easedale Tarn and discovered the orientation of glaciers that shaped the landscape. Students gained valuable skills to assist them in their independent investigations and even found time for an ice cream in the sun!
