On the 3rd March 2025, Mrs Powell, Head of Careers arranged for course leaders from UCLan to come in to speak to pupils and students interested in Forensic Science and Criminology.
Tina Gornell, and Victoria Gregson gave two excellent presentations about both the Forensic Science and Criminology Degrees that they offer. The presentations were aimed at our Year 11 pupils and Year 12 students who may be considering pursuing studying them in the future. Both speakers were engaging and motivating and extremely inspiring to listen to.
From listening to the content of the presentations students and pupils were able to learn the different course content and potential career opportunities that that can be worked towards once they had completed each degree. They were also able to learn about the excellent facilities and opportunities available to them should they go on to study at UCLan in the future.
