Love was in the air here at QEGS!
Secondary pupils and students in Sixth Form were encouraged to share friendship and love by purchasing a rose or chocolates for a fellow pupil or student on Valentine’s Day.
There were two types of roses available to purchase, a white rose to signify friendship and red rose to signify love and chocolate for everyone! Roses and chocolates were delivered during form time on the last day of this half term (Thursday 10th February) .
We would like to thank everyone for their help in supporting the fund raiser activity which raised £223.00. The money raised was split equally to support the fundraising efforts for the Sri Lankan Cricket trip and the Good Samaritan Primary School in Uganda, which our students will be visiting in July 2022.
