On Thursday 6th July, we held our Trinity Term Teatime Concert, Jonathan Baker performed the opening number with an energetic rendition of, ‘Puttin’ on the Ritz.’

Other performers included Isabelle Mullan, who sang, ‘Hopelessly Devoted to You,’ Daniel Ullas performed, ‘My Favourite Things,’ and from our recent Musical, ‘Into the Woods,’ Marwan Younes sang, ‘Giants in the Sky.’

The choir performed an African ensemble, and a number of GCSE Music pupils sang, ‘A Million Dreams,’ from the film, ‘The Greatest Showman.’

Jenson Gibson took to the drums to perform his Grade 7 piece, ‘The Trooper’ by Iron Maiden and Setareh Khattir and Emily Nickson entertained the audience with their melodies on the piano. It was a pleasure to listen to Mr Malloy, who gave his debut performance, singing one of his own compositions, ‘Carry You Home.’

Ben Brown confidently played ‘Chattanooga Choo Choo’ on his trumpet, on guitar, Ruby Ersell played, ‘Half the World Away’ by Oasis, and our regular soloists, Daisy Florentine, Angelina Jones, Holly Shafi, Kyden Lobo and Annabelle Whittle sang with poise and confidence.

With the remarkable range and depth of musical talent that was showcased in front of parents, friends, staff, and the wider school community, the concert was faultless and a huge success, and was enjoyed by all. Well done!
