Swimming success for Maisie and Mohammad

Two Year 7 pupils swam their way to personal bests at a gala in Spenborough in Leeds, in November. Mohammad Islam and Maisie Lambert, who both swim for Great Harwood Otters Swimming Club, took part in the gala with Mohammad coming 2^nd in backstroke and earning a personal best in 100 individual medley, and Maisie coming 4^th backstroke and 5^th in backstroke.

Maisie also achieved a personal best, and a bronze medal, in the individual medley at the gala. Both swimmers then competed again locally the following day, winning the East Lancashire Friendly League with Great Harwood Otters Swimming Club.
