Golf

Well done to the QEGS Golf team, who were invited to play at Pleasington Golf Club in the North West Region ’40 Club’ competition.  James Andrews, Will Smith, Owais Musa and Ahmad Musa managed to secure 2^nd place.

Additional Sports Results – Cricket Recognition Award

QEGS are extremely proud to receive the North West Region ’40 Club’ award, for the quality of play, commitment to cricket and sportsmanship demonstrated during its Senior fixture played against the touring adult team in May.  QEGS lost the fixture by three runs, with Qasim Shah scoring 114.  Two representatives from QEGS are now looking forward to attending the Presentation evening, which will be held in the Long Room at Lords Cricket Ground in November.
