SwimmingBlackburn with Darwen Schools’ Boys Swimming Gala Years 7, 8 and 9

QEGS hosted the 106th Annual gala and finished 3rd overall.

Both Medley and Freestyle Relay teams finished 4th.

Well done to the following pupils who all gained places in the finals and received certificates: Dan Ainsworth, Omar Juma, Zak Jones, Oliver Jenkins, Josh Asal, Aidan Robinson, Jenson Gibson, Rohail Robbani. Milo Gammon, Christopher Chen and George Hargreaves.

Dr Butler was particularly pleased with all the 22 boys who competed for their school.  They are fine ambassadors and demonstrate the spirit of what QEGS is all about: Volunteer, honour a commitment, roll up your sleeves and give your best. Thank you all and well done!
