QEGS 155 for 2 (Louis Strand 65, Cameron Hegg 43, Tom Sleigh 3 for 8) with KGS 93 for 7. QEGS won by 62 runs.
U13’s: QEGS v Kirkham Grammar School.
QEGS 101 for 7 (Milo Gammon 30, Josh Asal 30) with KGS 94 for 8. QEGS won by 7 runs.
U12’s: QEGS v Kirkham Grammar School.
QEGS 111 for 6 (Hasan Mughal 30, Rohail Rabban 30) with KGS 85 for 4. QEGS won by 26 runs.
U14’s: QEGS v Clitheroe Royal Grammar School. Quarter Final of LSCA Cup.
QEGS 107 for 4 (Rehan Zore 37, Cameron Hegg 26) with CRGS 108 for 4. QEGS lost in the last over.
U13’s Team Qualified for Town Semi Finals and went through to Finals at Salesbury Cricket Club.
Semi Final QEGS beat St. Bedes by 18 runs.
The Final saw QEGS lose by 16 runs to Westholme. Excellent cricket was played during the Cricket Festival with QEGS boys playing some of their best cricket of the season. Well done!
Golf
Congratulations to James Andrews who won the Lancashire Schools Golf Qualifier, this secures his place once again in representing his County.
Athletics
Well done to all the QEGS athletes who competed at the Town Sports on Tuesday. Town Champions are Harvey Ashworth, Kate Cookson, Nicole Saunders and Katie Lambert, with 10 more athletes achieving podium finishes.
