Last week our sports faculty hosted the QEGS South Africa Tour fundraising dinner in the historic Big School building.
We were delighted to welcome our chief guest, Old Blackburnian James Beattie, who has had a distinguished footballing career with Blackburn Rovers, Southampton, Everton, Sheffield United, Stoke City and England. He gave us a real insight into his early life and the world of professional football.
Comedy was provided by Norman Prince, one of the region’s finest comedians.
