Year 10 geography pupils visited Liverpool to investigate the success of regeneration in the city centre.

The group visited the Royal Albert Docks and Liverpool One where they carried out environmental quality surveys and interviewed those visiting the places of interest to see what they liked about the area.

Pupils then went on the Mersey River Explorer Cruise where they learnt more about the fascinating history of the River Mersey and were able to see incredible views of Liverpool’s world-famous waterfront from the deck of the Mersey Ferry. Whilst on the ferry the group sketched the Liverpool skyline labelling the buildings,  heritage and looked for evidence of regeneration.

An enjoyable day out for all!
