Throughout Lent term some of our Year 7 pupils took part in the ‘Read for Good sponsored Readathon’ and raised an amazing £150!

Read for Good motivates children to read for fun because we know that loving reading changes lives.

Pupils are encouraged to choose whatever they like to read – from comics to classics, and audio books to blogs – all whilst raising money toward supplying books to children in hospital, and books for school.

The aim was to read as many books as they could during the term. Some pupils managed to fill TWO sponsor cards with listed book titles they had read!

Celebrations took place with treats from the library and extra treats provided by Read for Good.

A ‘BIG’ well done to the following pupils who took part:

Bilal Yousaf 7FAM

Hamad Ali Akbar 7FAM

Rayyan M. Mahmood 7FAM

Ava Haddock 7KIC

Alayna Akhtar 7KIC

Minaal Sajjad 7ALF

Rida Sheikh 7DJP
