It is with great joy that we will be holding a Spring Fair in school on Thursday 31st March 2022.
All age groups are invited but we want pupils/students to arrive at different times. The Primary School will finish school early on this day at 2.00 pm and we encourage all parents/carers and their children to join us in the Main Hall and the Gym for the Spring Fair.
We want it to be fun! There will be lots of stalls, games and food so please bring along some money (in cash) to spend. The Spring Fair for the Primary School pupils and their parents/carers will start at 2:00 and finish at 3.20 pm.
The Spring Fair for the Secondary School and Sixth Form is just for pupils and students (not for parents – apologies!).
The Year 7 pupils will leave Period 6 early and join the Spring Fair at 3.25 pm. All other pupils and students in Year 8 and above will be encouraged to come to the Spring Fair as soon as normal lessons finish at 3.50 pm. The Spring Fair will finish at 4.45 pm.
Our aim is to raise money for the Primary School, for the Sri Lanka Cricket Tour and for the Uganda Visit.
We will be holding a raffle, tombolas, book stalls, refreshment stalls, various games, plus much more in the Main Hall and the Gym.
To help us to stock the chocolate and bottle tombola’s, we require your kind donations. Would you please bring donations of chocolates and bottles for these stalls from Monday 14th March and hand them in either at Main Reception or at Mrs Tighe’s office.
Tickets for the raffle will be available from Main Reception and Mrs Tighe’s office from Monday 28th March.
Prizes include 2 x Tickets to the Blackburn Rovers Home Game on Saturday 8th April, Grays £50 gift voucher, Tiggis restaurant gift vouchers, hampers and many more. We would welcome any other donations. Should you know of any local business that would like to donate towards the raffle or any of the other stalls, please pass on our contact details.
Primary School parents/carers who would like to volunteer to help run a stall at the Spring Fair are asked to speak to your child’s Form Teacher. These events are not possible without willing volunteers so we are grateful for any help.
We look forward to a really enjoyable event and thank you in advance, for your support in raising funds for the Primary School and for exciting Secondary School and Sixth Form Visits.
