We are delighted to share the exceptional achievements of our Year 13 students in this year’s A-Level examinations. Their dedication, resilience and ambition have been truly inspiring, and these results are a testament to their hard work and the support of our dedicated staff.
Among our many success stories this year:
- Rayhan Motara achieved an incredible 3 A*s and will be heading to the University of Manchester to study Computer Science with Mathematics, incorporating an industry placement. This is an extraordinary achievement given that Rayhan spent a significant amount of time in hospital undergoing kidney dialysis and a kidney transplant during his studies.
- Mariah Iqbal secured an A* in French, A in Latin, and a C in Philosophy and will take up a place at the University of Oxford to study Classics and French.
- Our Head Boy, Jibreel Hussain, has gained entry into his first-choice university, Lancaster University, to study Environmental Science.
- Hamad Khalid achieved 1 A and 2 Bs and will study Chemical Engineering at the University of Birmingham.
- Hajra Ahmed achieved 2 As and 1 B and has secured a degree apprenticeship in Software Engineering in London.
- Archa Anilkumar will study Optometry at the University of Manchester.
- Isaac Blackburn will read History and Politics at Edge Hill University.
We are especially proud of our future medics — a remarkable group of students who will all go on to study Medicine at universities across the country:
- Yousif Mahmood — 3 A*s
- Muhammad Hamza — 1A* and 2 As
- Fareeha Sheik — 2 A* and 1 A
- Iqra Mahmood — 2 As and 1 B
- Sania Tariq — 1 A and 2 Bs
- Alina Abbas – 2 As and 1 B
We could not be prouder of all our students , whether heading to university, embarking on apprenticeships, or taking their first steps into the workplace. Each of them leaves QEGS Sixth Form with not only excellent results, but also the character, confidence, and skills to thrive in the future.
We wish every one of our leavers the very best for the exciting journeys that lie ahead.
Congratulations Class of 2025 you have made us proud!
