Year 9 pupils in Mrs Albiston’s Geography class used animation to bring physical geography topics to life, including land formations and geographical processes such as longshore drift.
Pupils were given 3 songs (written by Mrs Albiston) written to familiar melodies; ‘The Longshore Drift Song’ (to the tune of Hokey Cokey), ‘Caves, Arches, Stacks and Stumps’ (Heads, Shoulders Knees and Toes) and ‘The Sand Dunes Song’ (If You’re Happy and You Know It).
Using the FlipaClip app, pupils chose one song and created animations to accompany the lyrics. We are looking forward to seeing the end result!
