Congratulations to Year 13 student Sahil Usman who has been awarded the Points of Light award by the Prime Minister.
Points of Light are outstanding individual volunteers – people who are making a change in their community. Every week day the Prime Minister recognises an inspirational volunteer with the daily Points of Light award.
Sahil said: ” I am extremely delighted to have been awarded the Points of Light award by the Prime Minister, it is a great honour to have the work I have done for my community recognised. I am looking forward to visiting the Prime Minister shortly after my A level examination period ends.”
Head of QEGS Sixth Form Mr Hindle said, ” What a fantastic achievement for Sahil and just reward for his contributions to the community.”
