The ARC Project is a charity that works with asylum seekers and refugees within Blackburn and Darwen, but they need our help!

ARC seeks to create a safe, welcoming space for those fleeing war, persecution and violence in their homelands. They provide the practical support asylum seekers and refugees need to start rebuilding their lives.

As QEGS is part of such an amazing community, some of our students thought that it would be nice to help them out. We can easily do that by donating any of the items listed below:

  • Rice
  • Cooking oil
  • Milk (no skimmed please)
  • Tinned fish (such as tuna, sardines, or mackerel)
  • Coffee
  • Sugar
  • Tinned fruits
  • Tinned vegetables (such as sweetcorn)
  • Pasta sauces
  • Noodles
  • Shampoo
  • Shower gels
  • Sanitary products

Donated items can be left at main reception or the sixth form centre before 30th June 2021.

Thank you for your support, these food donations will make a huge difference to people fleeing persecution, war, and violence.
