During summer 2021 we were delighted to learn that Owen Hardman had been successful in securing an Engineering Technician Apprenticeship at British Aerospace. This is a four-year apprenticeship in which places are highly sought after.
Owen joined QEGS in September 2012, aged 9, and through the years he continued to gain good academic results, he also made the most of the numerous extra-curricular clubs QEGS had to offer.
Owen was involved in making scenery and props for the many school plays and he represented the school at both cricket and rugby. Owen served his school community well; he was a Pupil Librarian as well as a Mentor for our new cohort of Year 7 pupils. Owen became a School Prefect in Year 13 and he was also made House Captain for Howard House.
We wish Owen the very best of luck as he moves on to begin his apprenticeship at British Aerospace.
