Over the weekend, Year 12 student, Laurence Vidler competed in four open piano classes at the Lytham Performing Arts Festival.
It was Laurence’s first experience of music competition and he thoroughly enjoyed it, placing first in the Classical (Haydn) and Baroque (Bach) classes, and achieving very high scores (“Honours”) in his Romantic (Brahms) and Impressionist (Ravel) classes.
Laurence has an amazing talent and we are very lucky to hear him play at school – well done Laurence!
