As part of our commitment to the mental and physical wellbeing of our school community, we are delighted to announce that we have recorded a series of yoga sessions, each made specifically for pupils, students, staff and parents/carers.
The lessons will be available from the first week of the Trinity term, each Thursday, and offer options for every level of yoga experience. You do not need to have any prior knowledge of yoga to take part in this new scheme.
All videos are available on our YouTube channel to access from the comfort of your own home and at a time that suits you.
Each movement in the sessions will be presented by the instructor with guidance to suit a range of abilities. Those with any health conditions or injuries should seek the advice of a medical professional before taking part in any physical activity.
The sessions have been created to offer moments of mindfulness for our entire QEGS community, something which has becoming increasingly more important as we all face daily challenges during a pandemic and in everyday life.
