Rehearsals are underway for the next QEGS Creative Faculty performance, which will see pupils and students perform the classic ‘Mary Poppins’.

The familiar story of a magical Nanny who comes to join the Banks family will be retold on Thursday 27th and Friday 28th February from 6.30pm in the Main Hall.

In the tale, young Jane and Michael Banks have sent many a nanny packing before Mary Poppins arrives on their doorstep. Using a combination of magic and common sense, she must teach the family members how to value each other again. Mary Poppins takes the children on many magical and memorable adventures, but Jane and Michael aren’t the only ones upon whom she has a profound effect. Even grown-ups can learn a lesson or two from the nanny who advises that, “anything can happen if you let it”!

Tickets can be purchased from Senior or Primary Phase Reception during school opening hours, priced at £6 for adults and £4 for concessions.
