The Primary School were very lucky to have a visit from ‘The Kindness Coach’, John Magee, on Wednesday 20th September.

John came into school to share a fabulous ‘Kindness’ assembly and talk about how spreading kindness is easy and free, but has a huge impact on people’s feelings.

All pupils from years 1-6 came together for the special assembly and then were very lucky to have year groups workshops to dig a little deeper into our feelings and think about kind acts that we can do to make others feel happier.

We all learnt about our mood meter and how we can make changes to affect our moods and other peoples’ moods in positive and negative ways.

All the children watched a video to show how to ‘pay kindness forward’ and we look forward to putting our acts of kindness into place in school, especially when we launch our 30-day Kindness Challenge on 1st November.

All our pupils thoroughly enjoyed the day with John Magee and felt they had learnt about how to make a positive change to themselves and to others.
