It may still have been winter but spring wasn’t far away, when our EYFS took a short stroll to Corporation Park on the hunt for the first signs of spring.
The children kept their eyes peeled; leaves were spotted growing on the trees and the pretty spring flowers were beginning to bloom, they visited the Avery where the birds were in full chorus, and also found a playground!
Once back at school the children examined and discussed their findings and looked more closely for further signs of spring in the photographs that were taken. Spring brings warmer weather and longer days, so it was the perfect opportunity to take some time out and explore the great outdoors.
