Former student Hannah Bury returned to QEGS to speak to Year 10 pupils about her studies, as she begins a PhD examining Disney Adaptations of 19th Century Literature.
Hannah left QEGS in 2015 after completing her A-Levels and went on to study an Undergraduate and MA degree in English Literature. During her visit to her former school, she spoke to pupils about the focus of her PhD and the research she will be undertaking.
Year 10 pupils benefitted from hearing Hannah’s insights and interpretations of the poem ‘Storm on the Island’ by Seamus Heaney. On behalf of Ms Mallon and the English Faculty staff, thank you for visiting, Hannah!
