Mr Taylor (Head of Careers) and Ms Walmsley (Head of Business Studies and Economics) took a group of 20 Year 12 Business and Economic A-level students to a Careers and Entrepreneurship event at Blackburn College as part of the Global Entrepreneurship Week.
The students heard a number of talks from local entrepreneurs about their business, how they set the business up, the obstacles that they have had to overcome and what they think it takes young people to become a successful entrepreneur.
Students had the opportunity to speak directly to the entrepreneurs at the end of the event. Maybe in the future, this will inspire one of then to be the next Alan Sugar or Deborah Meaden!
