QEGS Sixth Form student Eddison Emam has been crowned International Junior Miss United Kingdom at the UK finals in Trowbridge, Wiltshire.

As a result of her win, Eddison will travel to Texas in July to take part in the International Junior Miss competition, competing against representatives from around the world.

To earn her place at the pageant in Texas, Eddison had to demonstrate how she is a positive role model for her peers which she has done via raising money for charity and raise awareness on a topic she feels passionately about, children’s mental health.

In July, A level student Eddison will fly out to the USA to take part in a range of activities including pageant workshops, themed parties and an orientation with her fellow competitors.

Along with Eddison’s family, we are very proud of her success and wish Eddison luck for her trip in July!
