The In4Group, promoting fair access to technology, have been holding sessions with each of our Year Groups at Blackburn College to promote the uptake of tech roles amongst the community and engage pupils and students to consider it as a future career prospect.

As women are under-represented in tech, they are encouraging take up and offering an opportunity for mothers and female carers of our pupils and students, via an exciting new programme called MIND (Mums in Data), which aims to unlock the talent and potential of mothers and female carers looking to re-enter the workforce.

The programme focuses on equipping participants with the skills needed for in-demand data roles across the UK. These roles often offer flexible working hours, making them ideal for balancing professional and family commitments.
