On Tuesday 20th June, Year 10 Geography pupils travelled to the Fylde coast to investigate how successful the coastal management strategies are at protecting the coast.
Pupils measured the width of beaches to assess how effective groynes are at preventing longshore drift, they also assessed the effectiveness of sea walls, rock armour, and investigated the different facilities on offer for tourists.
A fantastic day was had by all.
