QEGS Careers Fair took place last week for all pupils in Years 8, 9, 10 and 11.

28 local employers, education and training providers attended the event which took place throughout the morning.  Each year group was able to talk directly to the exhibitors and were able to obtain useful information and advice about different career routes and options for their Post 16 studies.

Mrs Powell, Head of Careers, said ” The event was a huge success and pupils really engaged in asking good questions about the different pathways available to them post-16. I have been planning this event since last November and I have secured excellent links with local employers and education providers. I personally want to thank everyone who attended, and I look forward to welcoming employers and education/training providers back to Queen Elizabeth’s Grammar School for future events.”
