Well done to our 53 athletes across Years 7-12 who competed in the BwD Town Sports Day against all other schools in the Borough at Witton Park.
There were some fantastic individual performances including 9 podium finishes.
Congratulations to:
- QEGS Year 7 boys relay team who finished in 2nd Place
- Dana Juma who finished Town Champion in Shot Put, 2nd in 100m, and 2nd in Long Jump. A fantastic achievement being placed in all the events she participated in.
- Hamza Mughal who finished 2nd in 1500m
- Sami Butt who finished 2nd in 100m and 200m
- Cameron Stephens finishing 2nd in 1500m and High Jump.
Well done to all athletes that were selected to represent QEGS at this event.
