Last week, Year 6 went on a trip to the Manjushri Kadampa Meditation Centre in Ulverston. The aim of the trip was to learn more about Buddhism, from people who follow the religion themselves, and to further their knowledge of the topic as part of their current Religious Education work.

The pupils asked many varied, thought-provoking questions throughout the day, learning about the practice of Buddhism.  They had an amazing time, talking to a group of Nuns to find out more about their lives, living as a Nun, and even learnt how to meditate!
