Bolton Symphony Orchestra is delighted to be performing a varied and accessible concert, designed with children in mind, entitled Countdown to the Stars, on Saturday 1st February 2025 at the Victoria Hall at 3pm.

The concert will be conducted by their Assistant Artistic Director, Paul Witkiewicz, and features music from Star Wars, Apollo 13, ET, Star Trek and more. It would be an ideal concert to introduce all the family to the excitement of a live symphony orchestra, especially as it is an afternoon event.

Bolton Symphony Orchestra are offering half-price adult tickets for those learning with Bolton Music Service. As always, all under 19s are free.

The programme opens with the unmistakable Also Sprach Zarathustra, the theme music to 2001 Space Odyssey and as well as music from other classic space films will include the theme from the iconic Thunderbirds TV show. Why not dress up as your favourite character from one of these great films/shows?

The special ticket deal to purchase half price tickets at £6.50 (normal price £13) can only be redeemed by using the code BMS25 when booking online at https://www.boltonsymphony.org.uk/

You do not need to book a ticket for your child – the staff at Victoria Hall will let your children come into the concert with you.

Discounted tickets are only available online and must be purchased before 2pm on the day of the concert. You will not be able to redeem this offer on the door.
