Pupils in Primary Phase enjoyed a visit from a Co-op representative to support the Co-op’s ‘Be Safe Be Seen’ campaign. Belle visited QEGS in late January and started the presentation by explaining her job and how she supports the Co-op’s initiative that aims to teach children about road safety and keep them safe when travelling to and from school.
Over the past 7 years, the campaign has given out over 200,000 reflective badges to schools and youth groups for children aged 3-7.
Miss Presho then led an assembly about how to stay safe at night in the dark. Pupils were extremely enthusiastic and answered lots of tricky questions, showing the excellent attention that had been paid during the presentation.
We would like to say thank you to Belle and the Co-op for providing us with reflective badges, which pupils can wear before and after school.
