Two of our amazing staff at QEGS took on the London Marathon, raising money for charities very close to their hearts.

Mr Aslam not only completed the London Marathon in 4 hours and 10 minutes, but he is also running in the Manchester Marathon this weekend! Mr Aslam is raising valuable funds for the Abu Faisal Trust.

The Abu Faisal Trust is building its first ever school in Sindh, Pakistan, where over 200 children are currently without a school and not in education. Mrs Wild applied to run in the London Marathon but was not lucky enough to gain a place, however, this did not stop her. Mrs Wild took to Witton Park to run her marathon, which she completed in 5 hours and 22 minutes.

This inspirational lady is raising money for Macmillan Cancer Care, to help fund the provision of support to those suffering from cancer. These carers are vital to families, and to those who have been diagnosed with cancer, they are generous and sensitive, whilst giving the much-needed extra care and support to those of whom are unlucky enough to suffer from the disease.
