For one day only, pupils and students across QEGS’ Primary Phase, Senior Phase and Sixth Form left their pens and pencils behind to take part in the annual ‘no pens day’.
The day, delivered in support of ICAN (the children’s communication charity), encourages pupils to use their speaking and listening skills. Activities including string measuring, Lego physics, egg-craft building, drama workshops and classroom discussions stimulated pupils and students and reminded them of the importance of effective oral communication.
Thank you to the staff and of course our pupils and students for embracing ‘no pens day’ once again!
