It was a pleasure to have the firefighters join Year 2 on the 13th November 2018.
The pupils listened carefully to a video about what to do if there was a fire in their house, they then worked together as a year group to complete a fire plan quiz.
Year 2 were very happy when they were told that they were the first class to get 5 out of 5 in the quiz this year!
The fire fighters then showed the group all the protective clothing that they have to wear to keep them safe while tackling a fire and the hose they use to put the fires out. It was all very interesting!
Some pupils were also lucky enough to dress up as a fire fighter, whilst the other children acted out what they would do if there was a fire in their house.
