12 pupils from QEGS did an outstanding job competing in the recent Rotary Engineering competition at Accrington and Rossendale College!
Participating in a multi-stage event where KS3, KS4, and KS5 students competed to design and solve technical problems, showing skill and teamwork. Their ability to work fully independently from staff is especially impressive, demonstrating their creativity and problem-solving capabilities.
Mr Windle, was impressed with the camaraderie of each individual team; all pupils were polite and courteous with staff and there was a real sense of teamwork from start to finish.
The pupils all really enjoyed their day: competing against other local schools, getting to know their team mates better, working on a hard but exciting project and representing QEGS outside of school.
Thank you to the Rotary Club for this amazing opportunity.
